Steady (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: email address, and optionally name.
• Health & wellness data you provide: height, weight, sex, birth date, medication name and dosage, food entries, symptom entries, water intake, and goals.
• Usage data: app interactions and crash reports (via analytics tools).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To calculate and display your daily nutrition goals and progress.
• To generate personalized weekly summaries and reports.
• To improve the app and provide support.

3. What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your personal or health data.
• We do not use your health data for personalized advertising.
• We do not provide medical advice or adjust medication dosages.

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to you via authenticated sessions.

5. Third-Party Services

• Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication and data storage.
• Google AI (Gemini) — AI analysis of meal entries and weekly summaries.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• OneSignal — push notifications.

6. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time from within the app (Profile > Data & Privacy) or via the account deletion page.

7. Children

Steady is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.

1. The Service

Steady is a nutrition, symptom and progress tracking tool for people managing their weight. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

2. Not Medical Advice

Content and features in Steady are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet, exercise, or medication.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.

4. Subscriptions

• Steady offers a free plan and a paid Premium plan.
• Premium is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment, renewal, and cancellation are managed by the respective store.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, reverse engineer it, or use it in violation of applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steady shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
